Do Not Comply or Why Joe Biden can go fuck himself

Why Joe Biden should go fuck himself

From the beginning of this pandemic there has been a long list of missed opportunities and colossal fuck ups that cannot remain ignored. It was the wrong choice made at the wrong time that resulted where we are today. The sad fact is that from that incompetence there is no turning back, covid is here to stay.

Starting from the beginning China lied. On day 1 they refused to tell the rest of the world what had happened in Wuhan while keeping flights going around the globe spreading a disease we had never seen before. But before we put all the blame on China lets back up for a second.

The illegal funding of gain of function research in China through the efforts of Dr Fauci led to the creation of a disease that could never have been created in nature. The doomsday virus was discussed in 2012 by Fauci where he talked about the creation of a hybrid virus of his own design.

https://rumble.com/vhu5uz-fauci-2012-benefits-of-risky-research-outweighs-potential-accidental-releas.html

When gain of function research was made illegal in the United States by President Barack Obama the research was moved to China along with the funding. The research never stopped.

Other missed opportunities include the lack of response by the Chinese government in late 2019. Months before the virus was officially acknowledged it had leaked into Wuhan with reports of Lab techs coming down sick. We also know through testing that people had Covid-19 in late 2019 through antibody testing. The virus was released earlier than they officially state.

Borders were not closed even when it was official that an outbreak was active in Wuhan. Trump failed in closing the border. Another missed opportunity. Instead of implementing a lockdown early on states-imposed lockdowns months later after the virus had been confirmed in every county of that state, failing to stop the spread or contain the virus.

Two-week lockdowns ultimately failed do to not imposing a lockdown. Certain people were still allowed to function and go to work while others were told to stay at home. Lack of vitamin D from loss of sunlight caused more hospitalizations while blaming the virus on being racist instead of the poor policies that would predominantly affect black people.

Lockdowns were viewed as no longer important when riots against racism were declared legal and encouraged by local governments. Imposing any kind of policies to fight covid would be viewed as a joke after this retarded choice in priorities.

Once it was learned that Covid could infect several different species besides humans the policy of a vaccine should have been thrown out the window. There are a handful of viruses that have been wiped off the earth. Small pox is extinct because of one key factor, no other species on earth can contract it. Once the population of the planet had been vaccinated there was no place for the virus to go. Even if the entire population of the planet was vaccinated the fact that Covid had live in cats, mink, deer, and other animals means that the virus has a place to mutate and repopulate into the human population in a different form not protected by vaccine. Simply put, the unvaccinated are not causing the spread of new mutated forms of Covid. Delta came out of India who has a vaccinated population of around 8%. It was not the breeding ground for a virus to mutate and test itself against a vaccinated population.

There are no studies that prove face mask protect people against a virus. N95 face mask are not designed for long term use beyond 15 minutes when properly worn. I know this from working in TB rooms 15 years ago.

There are two stories currently being told around the world. The first is that the vaccine is the only option for fighting Covid-19. The second is that drugs like Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, and Regeneron help fight the virus or prevent it along with vitamin D, and Zinc. The Japanese health minister announced last week that they would be using ivermectin to treat patients after they found it has a 100% success rate when administered early enough. Vitamin D was found to lower the symptoms of people who contract the virus preventing hospitalizations. The fact that these drugs were never looked at as possible treatments and, in many cases, forbidden from use only tells me they should be looked into further. In the case of Ivermectin the company that produced it is constantly asked for information on the use of the medication even though they lost the patent rights to it in the 1990s. When they look at losing money on a drug treatment, they no longer own the rights to and they earned hundreds of millions of dollars on a vaccine that is only 37% effective I think they will defend the paycheck.

The federal government does not have the authority to implement a mandate for health protocols. That ability is left to the state health departments and has always been that way. The recent signing of a federal mandate only adds to the list of illegal mandates, not laws, implemented by the Biden administration. The rent moratorium was declared illegal by the supreme court, Biden ignored the court.

With the virus having the ability to jump from different species the forced policy of a vaccine mandate will fail. The injuries and deaths caused by the vaccine are preventable crimes that don’t need to happen. In the last month Japan had to discard three shipments of vaccines that had been contaminated. Several other countries stopped vaccinations including Germany who wanted to see if their case numbers would decline if they stopped giving the jab.

There are no studies to show that the current vaccines help fight or prevent the delta variant. Even with the recent letter sent to Pfizer about the extension of their emergency use status the delta variant was not mentioned. The push for more booster shots is a desperate plea to find something in their current limited arsenal that might work.

What we need to remember with the push for mandates and the restrictions on our civil liberties is that Biden is not a medical professional. He is not your doctor. He does not know your medical history. Listening to an elected official with no medical background on how to run a country during a pandemic is following a confident blind man over a cliff. The fact that these people continue to listen to the person responsible for the creation of this virus only shows how stupid they truly are.

There is one thing to remember when it comes to this mandate and any mandate that comes in the future, Biden can go fuck himself. If he cared about your life or the life of Americans in general, he would not have left people behind in Afghanistan. Arsonist and rapists would not have been bailed out during the BLM riots of 2020. The Saudis would have been held responsible for 9-11. If Biden cared about America he never would have run for president. Joe Biden can go fuck himself.

How to Stop the Great Reset 2.0

Since the publication of my previous article on the same subject there have been major steps taken against the program we know as The Great Reset. States like Texas and Florida are refusing to follow federal guidelines for lockdowns and Vaccine inoculations. The United States is currently just above 50% for fully vaccinated people and while the white house and the CDC are stating that vaccinated people are not contracting the Delta variant the numbers coming out of other countries tell a different story. Israel has a vaccinated population of over 90% percent and in their hospitals 85-95% of patients are fully vaccinated. The same is in countries like Gibraltar and Sweden where the vaccination rates are over 80%. Meanwhile in Australia 17-23% of the population are vaccinated but, in their hospitals, they only had 1 patient who was not vaccinated hospitalized and Australia never when off of lockdown. The numbers are telling a different story from what the media is telling the public and people are starting to wake up.

Anti-lockdown protest are erupting in the EU, Australia, and Canada. The current 1 trillion-dollar infrastructure bill going through congress make it a felony to question lockdowns, because more are coming, and question medical professionals about vaccines and Covid data.

More lockdowns are coming. Mask mandates are returning regardless of the fact that there are zero studies about mask preventing disease before 2020. How people react to these future lockdowns will determine where the country goes for the rest of the century. These laws are unconstitutional, violating the first amendment. We have libel laws for civil courts but this is one step further regulating speech, the type of laws Jordan Peterson warned us about years ago.

Also in the infrastructure bill is the mandating of tracking applications on all cell phones to make sure you can be tracked at all times. It is also a felony to remove the app or turn it off. There are faraday bags you can buy to place your phone in blocking all signal including GPS tracking. For those who are creeped out by a peeping tom in your bedroom window this might be an easy fix for your cell phone. On a side note, stay away from Apple phones if you can. The company that just promoted a privacy campaign for their service just announced that your photos are subject to viewing at any time for the sake of eliminating “Child Pornography.” As we know from the NSA tracking of General Petraeus what they say they are looking for quickly changes to anything useful that can be used against you.

Parents are currently battling against teachers Unions from the teaching of Critical Race Theory in public schools. There are thousands of school districts in the United States but over 400 where parents are demanding these practices be banned from the curriculum. This may sound like a small start but once the ball starts rolling it will be difficult to stop. Either home school your kids or find a private school to send them.

The transfer of wealth with real estate is in its final stages one way or another. Biden extended the rent moratorium against the ruling of the Supreme Court and thankfully landlords are now suing the Biden administration for violating the constitution. While the property of the landlords has been taken away from them including their way of making income, the local, state, and federal government is still demanding tax money on that property. The goal is to move these buildings out of the hands of the current landlords who can not afford the loss and into the hands of corporations for the start of the Great Reset. When people are forced to move out of rural areas, they will need a place to go.

If you can buy an older car, do so. New cars will be mandated to provide tracking, retinal scans, and breathalyzers in order to operate the vehicle. Along with the new devices installed will come a computer to monitor driving and tax you on the miles you drive.

I can hope that the narrative that has been pushed over the last 18 months is falling apart. A virus with a death rate comparable to the flu has no business taking up so much of our lives as it has. When people start living their lives the way that they want to without the nosiness of the government we will finally be back to normal. The previous lockdown was viewed as a success but we must remember that it was a failure. They learned they could control us and that the majority of people will follow along. What we need to remember is that if it had worked against such a poor excuse of a pandemic, we would no longer need lockdowns. The same can be said for masks and vaccines as well. When the people in charge continue to try the same thing that didn’t work last time. We either need to let them know to try something new or we will try new leaders instead. When in doubt, vote them out.

From the Cabin

3-14-2021 Vol 1 Issue 12

Politics: President Biden signed the 1.9 trillion-dollar covid-19 rescue stimulus bill that just bumped the national debt to 30 trillion dollars. Among the recipients of the stimulus checks are felons currently in prison. If you are unemployed you will get $400 per week until march of 2022.

Economics: Experts agree inflation is the likely route the federal government will take to counter the unprecedented printing of money that is currently taking place. In under a year, we have seen a 2.2 trillion-dollar stimulus bill, a 1.9 trillion-dollar bill, and the usual budget for the year all totaling around 5 trillion dollars. This figure does not include social security or the military budget.

Gold: $1,730.30 troy ounce

Silver: $26.20 troy ounce

Platinum: $1,218.00 troy ounce

Copper: $4.16 pound

Bitcoin: $60,026.10

US National Debt: $28,051,667,000,000

Debt per citizen: $84,932

Food: In Australia, the use of manure for fertilizing fields is now banned and farmers are required to pay high prices to have animal waste “properly” taken care of. Expect famines in Australia in the coming year.

Self-defense: After the house passed a new gun bill requiring back ground checks for guns sales, a person already needs a background check to buy a gun, great white dope Dianne Feinstein introduced a new bill to ban the popular AR-15 rifle and magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.

Health: Italy and Paris France are locking down again due to an outbreak of the new mutation of Covid-19. The survival rate for covid-19 is 99.75%.

Editorial: recently on Marfoogle news and Kunstler cast podcast there was a mention of something called the Deagel forecast. Deagel worked for several administrations starting with Jimmy Carter and ending with Bill Clinton. He started a non-profit company that worked with national security. Deagel died last year but not before writing one last projection for the United States. According to Deagel the population of the US will be around 99 million. That is less than 1/3 of the current population. Deagel goes on to explain his forecast and that is more entertaining than the list of countries and their estimated populations. It would appear at the moment there is a large amount of concern regarding the future of the country, and none of it has to do with Covid-19. The odd thing about these matching theories is that they cover a wide spectrum of people. The climate activist, federal reserve enthusiasts, peak oil people, are all saying the same thing even while coming from their different perspectives. Deagel had his own perspective with a unique background and for some reason he decided to release this last forecast before his death.

The Great Reset: Societal Reset, Part 2

Social Unrest

“If the crisis goes on for long, unemployment could hit 20-30 per cent while economies could contract by 20-30 per cent … there will be no recovery. There will be social unrest. There will be violence. There will be socio-economic consequences: dramatic unemployment. Citizens will suffer dramatically: some will die, others will feel awful.” Jacob Wallenberg, Swedish industrialist, March 2020. Pages 85-86.

This opening statement appears to be pretty obvious considering there are riots happening in the Netherlands in opposition to lockdowns. More protest sprung up with businesses opening their doors defying orders to stay closed. Mask mandates go unenforced in some areas while the federal government pushes for double mask wearing. As I write this (2-19-2021), the US unemployment rate is at 6.3%, far from the 20-30% projected. However, as policies in the United States change and with the not too distance future bringing automation into the scene, we may see a rise of unemployment after the pandemic is over. The violence we are seeing today is not from unemployment its from the lack of liberty and freedom that the public expects and demands from the government. When security goes to far for too long you will see a backlash against those who claim to be protecting the public. At what point does the government resemble an abusive husband more than a police officer patrolling the streets?

“Over the past six years, nearly 100 African Americans have died in police custody, but it took the killing of George Floyd to trigger a national uprising.” Page 86.

This statement overall, is false. The 100 African Americans mentioned were not in police custody.  Most of them were armed while confronting police. In the cases of those who were not armed the police were investigated, brought up on charges and sent to prison if found guilty of wrongdoing. As for the case of George Floyd several factors are left out in this chapter regarding the large amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine, and heroine in his system. Then there was the portion of the video that was removed for 6 months showing Floyd demanding that officers hold him on the ground. The knee on the neck was a properly performed technique according to the standards of the police department that trained them to do it. As for BLM being a movement caused by a pandemic, that fails to be seen. BLM is an organization run by black women for the removal of men from society. Their platform on their website states they want to dissolve the nuclear family. The only purpose George Floyd served was as an excuse to push their communist agenda into American society under the disguise of equity and equality. Add the fact that it was an election year and that we haven’t heard a peep from BLM since Biden became president and I think the “uprising” argument remains dead in the water. The last time we heard from BLM was their disappointment that they were not invited to talks with the Biden Harris administration after their alleged election victory. Never underestimate the power and stupidity of useful idiots. The only way that Covid-19 became a factor during the riots as the socially acceptable ability for a person to wear a face mask in public and not be identified while committing a crime. The riots, till this day, remain the most eye-opening aspect of these lockdowns. A man throwing a ball with his daughter in a park will be arrested for not adhering to lockdown orders. Wear a mask, go out at night, break windows, burn down a few buildings, scream black lives matter and you will be released in the morning by the district attorney with no charges filed. If the riots showed us anything, it wasn’t about racial inequality, it was that the lockdowns didn’t matter.

“Social unrest negatively affects both economic and social welfare, but it is essential to emphasize that we are not powerless in the face of potential social unrest, for the simple reason that governments and to a lesser extent companies and other organizations can prepare to mitigate the risk by enacting the right policies. The greatest underlying cause of social unrest is inequality. The policy tools to fight unacceptable levels of inequality do exist and they often lie in the hands of governments.” Page 88-89.

If you want to fight inequality do not give the power to the government. If you want to look at the history of social unrest you don’t have to look any further than the drug war waged by the federal government since the 1970s, the crack epidemic of the 1980s, The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, or the wall street bail out of 2009. We could go back further, maybe look at the LA riots of 1992. None of these were caused by inequality. The problems didn’t spring up due to unfair hiring practices, or bad schools. Should we really be looking to the same government that pumped crack cocaine into the streets, jailed black men at an alarming rate, left the public to rot while handing over hundreds of billions of dollars to Wall Street, that is the government that Schwab wants to fix the problem of inequality? The same government that is unable to hand out a check to the public without billions going to dead people, foreign citizens, and fraud. The government is unable to balance a check book, why would we trust them with setting things right in the world? According to the current administration the concentration camps in China are okay because they have a different culture from us. I do believe that the German’s had a different culture from the US before WWII but maybe our standards have changed since then. The only thing the government has proven themselves good at its mismanagement of funds and making bad decisions. If Schwab thinks inequality is bad now, wait until the government steps in to fix it, he hasn’t seen nothing yet.

The Great Reset: Economic Reset, part 1

The following is part of a book review series about The Great Reset by Klaus Schwab and Thierry Mallerett.

“Must the economy die so that it could be resurrected in robust good health? Yes.” This is from page 38 of The Great Reset by Klaus Schwab and Thierry Mallerett. This is a Quote from Simon Schama describing what was done during previous pandemics, but it is used as an argument for the reaction by Governments around the globe. There are arguments made on both sides of the fence for lockdowns or keeping economies open and I have to say that the arguments for lockdowns are poor overall.

On page 44 we read “Once people began to worry about the pandemic, they effectively started to shut down the economy, even before the government had officially asked them to do so.” Anyone who was paying attention for the last year knows this didn’t happen. I, personally, went out and stocked up on food and supplies not knowing what was going to happen over the coming weeks. The shelves in supermarkets were bare. People could not buy toilet paper on-line. Stores closed their doors and we thought that everyone was going to die. I knew it was better to spend the money I had on something I knew I would need in the future rather than save it for when things reopened. Since then, people have started saving money, not because of the lockdown but not knowing if they are going to lose their employment because of government policies, not the virus. At the time of the initial lockdown the average American had less than $1000 in savings and could not afford a $500 expense if it came their way. The only time Americans saved money was when the stores were closed due to lockdowns and that was only if they were the people who could work from home and keep a paycheck coming in. Even then, sales on Amazon and other on-line outlets skyrockets to Christmas sales numbers funneling money away from small businesses and straight to major corporations. This argument on human reaction regarding the fear of the virus is false.

Regarding lockdowns. On page 45 we see a line “when you do it right, nothing happens.” As we know now, nobody did it right. The states with the most sever lockdown orders had the largest spikes in cases and death. New York, Michigan, and Washington state shut down major parts of their economy but continued certain operations for the sake of tax revenue. You could not go to church, but you could go to the lock liquor store and buy a bottle of gin with a pack of smokes. You could go to Lowe’s and buy lumber, but you weren’t allowed to buy house paint or flooring. With our current culture the ability to do an appropriate lockdown was impossible. Most homes do not have enough food to feed the occupants for more than a week. Savings are non-existent and even if people had the money to buy food for several weeks the local grocery store is designed to have food for the public it serves for a week at a time. A proper lockdown was never feasible, the virus was never going away.

When referring to returning to normal the book quotes leading experts on the subject “It is likely to be before the first quarter of 2021 at the earliest.” As of 2-7-2021 the US economy isn’t close to recovering with people in the service industry still unemployed, thousands of small businesses closed permanently due to the mismanagement of the pandemic, and a failed roll out of a vaccine by the Biden administration. Under president trump there were 200,000 more vaccines given per month than the current administration who came into system already in process and more companies producing the vaccine than before.

The fear for the economy now is that with people saving money, American households have 33% more savings than before the pandemic and in the EU its 19% higher, they will not spend it once the economy is fully open hindering the growth back to normal. It’s not the virus that caused these people to hold on to their money, its fear of paying their bills when the government decides they are not essential and can no longer work. In the US we received two checks during the entire span of the pandemic. Neither would be enough to pay the bills that piled up while someone was out of work for forced to shut down. Small business loans were only for paying employees to keep them on the payroll and prevent them from collecting unemployment. Many businesses shut down knowing that their employees would collect more while on unemployment and the loan did not help the cost of keeping the business afloat like paying the owner, rent, power and water bills, property taxes, resources, or any loans that might be outstanding. Small businesses overall had no help from the federal government. During the last month, with businesses still shut down and people still unemployed, state governments are starting to demand payments back from people originally deemed qualifying for unemployment benefits due to Covid-19. Whatever saving these people might have will be eaten by a bureaucratic system that is looking to cut its losses while mishandling a situation making it more painful for the public.

2020, The Long Slow Goodbye

A few days ago, I learned that John Le Carre, a veteran of the cold war and seasoned writer of high-quality spy novels, died at the age of 89. The comment had to be added to the official announcement that he did not die from COVID-19. This is a good bye for two reasons, the author of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy would never writer another ground breaking novel again, and we can’t hear about anyone dying without having COVID-19 added to it one way or another.

A year ago, at this time we were living free from lock downs, wearing mask, and election drama. I still called myself a liberal. While I was starting to see a change in the city, I always lived I still had a love for it and what it could be. There was the cushy job that paid too much money with little work and responsibility. The house that I still owned since 2004 that I had already dished out $78,000 for and I still owed $43,000 on a $65,000 mortgage. Don’t ask me how the math on that works out. Life was cruising along and then news started to come out of China.

In the last year we lost Sean Connery, John Le Carre, Kirk Douglas, Kelly Preston, Jerry Stiller, and Eddie Van Halen. The list is longer and people would be pissed if I didn’t mention RBG, but to be honest with you I think that one had been living on borrowed time for a few years already. The year doesn’t compare to 2016 when we heard about a new celebrity death every couple of days but that was the good old days. When all you have to look forward to on the news is who died now maybe life isn’t that bad, for you that is, sucks for the dead guy. What was different was how every death this year was over shadowed by COVID-19. Except for Kobe Bryant there was always the question if the person they were talking about had died from COVID-19, or if they died of something else but had COVID-19. The story was never about the life of the person who had died but instead played second fiddle to a disease.

Celebrities aren’t the only thing dying this year. The country appears to be on life support as businesses shut down and lives are destroyed. Several places I loved going to no longer exist. Restaurants, breweries, and small shops have closed their doors for good. For many, the sense of having a future to look forward to has disappeared. The media continues to ignore the record number of suicides that states have been seeing while they continue to keep people isolated for no good reason at all. The American dream has been reserved for a select few, and unless you are prospering from the current economic conditions then this does not include you. The constitution has been under fire these days and like the bible thumpers I grew up with people have started to take a selective approach to the bill of rights. BLM is allowed to protest because it is their first amendment right. People are not allowed to protest the lockdowns because the government says so. Statues were torn down, building set on fire, people killed in the streets in the name of… something and nobody appeared to be arrested or held accountable. Meanwhile if you open your business to make money, while following CDC guidelines so that you can feed your family and keep a roof over your head you will go to jail. COVID-19 didn’t do this, we did this to ourselves. The government over reacted and continued policies more dangerous than a disease and we as a people let it happen and continue. Vaccines have been administered this week and even if the majority of the country has been stuck in the arm with a needle the government is saying we will still have to continue with our current policies. Democracy, the constitution, and the bill or rights also died this year.

Four states changed election rules without going through their state legislature in accordance to the constitution of the united states. When 20 other states tried to sue over this the supreme court declined to hear the case. Voting machines that had been purchased through Canada have been shown to alter votes, and while people like John Oliver stated a year ago that this was a problem. Now we are supposed to believe that there was nothing wrong with these machines.

Race relations have never been worse. A constant barrage of stories about racism and defining people by the color of their skin has alienated the country from itself.

A job that I thought was secure turned into a SJW cesspool, or maybe it always had been and I just didn’t want to see it. Emails went out to POCs (people of color) to have meeting with only them, segregating the employees. Over a span of two years several highly regarded famous authors died with no presentation, display, or mention of the event on the library website. Jim Harrison, Anthony Bourdain, Philip Roth, Elie Wiesel, Sam Shepard, and Harlan Ellison died during the time I work for the library and out of the list Anthony Bourdain had a display, only because I put one together on a cart and wheeled it out into the lobby. There it stayed for a week before it was taken down and the materials returned to the shelves. I had requested a display for Tony, even suggesting a link to suicide prevention, but I was told that “If we did a display for every author who died we would always have a display up.” Somewhere along the way the library had lost its way as to what a library is. Without writers a library would not exist. Somewhere along the way libraries had forgotten where they started and why they existed. And we wonder why people don’t read anymore?

My city started to implode. It was socially acceptable and encouraged to say that white people were evil. Riots happened downtown with windows smashed, and stores looted. The public sided with the rioters while the store owners cleaned up the mess and had to cover the cost. A year before a few members of the Proud Boys went to Bells Brewing for a beer. An out spoken member of the community refused to let them in the brewery saying they were not welcome here and harassed them until they left, while taking photos of their vehicles and license plates to post them online. These are the “open minded” and “socially understanding” people that had started to take over the city. A year later, nobody spoke up against BLM when they trashed the city while screaming about police brutality. The cops used tear gas when they refused to go home and all hell broke loose. The police were under fire for doing their jobs. The Proud boys came back to hold a rally. I watched the entire 1 hour 45-minute uncut video of their march through the city with the poorly narrated dialogue of a man who insisted on telling the camera the exact opposite of everything that happened. The proud boys marched to Bronson park, said some words, and went back to their cars. Meanwhile counter protesters threatened to hit the marchers with sticks and rocks. Flags were stolen and pepper spray used. The local media pushed the idea that the proud boys instigated the violence by showing up. The BLM protesters were arrested for assault and the chief of police was forced to resign for what the public viewed as a poorly handled situation. Later a memorial to a fallen officer was removed from the downtown mall because of public complaint and constant vandalism. My city, the one that I loved, no longer existed.

A brewery that I had gone to since 2013 closed its doors months before their 7th anniversary. The last day was filled with speeches of gratitude and memories that would live on forever. We tried to remain upbeat but by the end of the night men were hugging and crying at the loss of such a great place.

The union closed their doors after we had moved out of town. A place that I wrote about several times, for their live jazz shows, upscale beer selection, and comfortable atmosphere it had a special place in my heart with good food to add to the list. Reasons for staying were disappearing.

2020 has been a long slow good bye to everything that made this country great. From the small businesses that make up the majority of jobs in this country, to the Bill of Rights that has been under attack by the same people who freely use it while arguing you cannot. In a year we have entered some kind of upside-down world where nothing makes sense and to try to live the way you did a year ago is now illegal and you will be punished several ways for it.

People have talked about the new normal and I will admit that everything is changing all the time. There are some things that we need to hold onto. Change can be good but when you do too much you lose a part of yourself or your culture. The country is divided and as I write this there is talk of dividing the country physically. The west coast wants to be liberal democratic states and they can have it. The Midwest from the Rockies to the Appalachian Mountains want to be conservative republican “leave us the F*ck alone” states. Then there is the east coast that is a little more complicated. While I live in Michigan which somehow went from Trump country to Biden wasteland, I can tell you that if you are not in a larger city you are in Trump country. This land is the opposite of where I left. I have seen BLM bumper stickers on the backs of cars and wondered if anyone was going to say something. But there is a simple philosophy here. You don’t bother us; we don’t bother you. I don’t know why that was so hard in Kalamazoo. The country is tolerant, but remember, when you start crap here, these people will finish it. Burn your own cities. March in your streets. Tear yourselves apart. But don’t bring that shit here.

2020 has been a long slow good bye to a lot of things. I left my job. I left my city. I left the Democratic party. I sold a house that I owned for 16 years. I lost my favorite bar. I lost faith in people. I lost trust in government. The list goes on and on. 2020 has been perpetual loss and saying goodbye is something we are all good at now.

Roughing It

I had only been to northern Michigan a handful of times before moving up here. The city I grew up in, and spent most of my life, is an anomaly in the state, with three colleges a manufacturing and tech infostructure it is beyond how most of the state lives. There are the obvious advantages to a place like this, things come easily, jobs are not hard to come by, and whatever you want can be found in a short period of time. The cost of living in such a place, I am learning is high. Everything is regulated, the city sticks their nose into anything they can find. Anything you need to live you have to pay for. There is a water bill, electric, sewer, heat, and food, with little space and resources it is difficult to find any of these or make them yourself, the city holds a monopoly on water, you have to hook up to the system, and not having electricity is against local code, you can try to get by without a car but good luck on buying things like furniture. I remember as a kid buying groceries with my mom and hauling them home on the bus. This also limits how much you can buy and forces you to spend more time and money on more trips. The cost of housing is high as well, for a family to rent a two-bedroom house will set them back $800 a month and that doesn’t include the other expenses, plus that is in a bad neighborhood.

For over a decade I wanted something different for my life. For a few years I grew my own food. Even in the city I became very good at it. I grew enough tomatoes to fill the 50+ canning jars I bought at the local second-hand stores. The surplus I could not eat or store I gave away at work. I had this gardening thing down. Financially I was doing alright being out of debt except for a house but still what I could do to better my situation was limited. To go hunting at a decent spot meant a forty-minute drive to another city with public hunting land that I had to share with idiot hunters that almost shot me several times while covered in orange.

In the last few years my wife and I traveled to northern Michigan including the UP and I finally saw for myself the Michigan that everyone else saw. Pine trees as tall as buildings, lakes with fish the size of small dogs, wildlife besides feral cats, and birds that I had read about in books out never saw with my own eyes. At the age of 37 I finally saw bald eagles on the Kalamazoo River, something that had almost gone extinct in our area because of the pollution in the water. Why did I have to hunt for these things in a place that was supposed to be, by the local definition, a perfect place?

It took a disease and a lock down to make me question things even more. If I was going to be forced to stay in a place for extended periods of time with little to do shouldn’t I enjoy where I was living? Why should I rely on a place and a system that appeared to be falling apart?

It took an internet search for a cabin to bring us here. While we wanted a small place to get away for our northern adventures we found instead a house that continued to pop up in our searches, The land was what we wanted, the house was larger than what we currently owned, and It came with the cabin I am writing in now. The town is called Tustin and we had never heard of it. With a population of 230 it was close to what we were looking for with two decent sized cities within a short drive. To find anything like this in the city would have cost us more than we could ever hope to make, or save, in our lifetime. To live in Tustin is to slow down. In the fall the locals take to their deer blinds to fill their freezers, beds of trucks are filled with the cut pieces of tree trunks to be later split and dried for winter heat. Discussions at the gas station regard the trials and tribulations of fishing gone wrong, every shop is filled with taxidermy of prizes taken in years past with space leftover for what is to come. During my drives through the countryside the roads are slowed down by the large tractors hauling liquid manure that is sprayed over empty fields keeping the land fertile.

If you come to the top of a hill you can see windmills in the distance and I often wonder if any of the locals had gone off on a Don Quixote adventure hopes of reliving a grander time than now. In a way everyone here is Don Quixote, decorating their lawns with the farming and mining tools of a century ago while satellite dishes sit next to their houses

Horses and cows are not an uncommon sight here and while some stick to older ways modern life is creeping in slowly changing the landscape into what we are all trying to stay away from,

Maybe I am a fool who thinks he can somehow turn back the clock grasping at something that might have only existed in my imagination, but maybe in this adventure I can find some peace for myself and my family during a time that leaves many people questioning how we have been living our lives.

Voting Republican for the first time

It’s not hard to remember the first election I ever voted in. Most people who voted in 2000 can recall the law suits, confusion, and eventual decision by the supreme court, not the people, the put George W. Bush in office. Sometimes I look back and wonder what life might have looked like if Al Gore had become president and 9-11 still happened. Of course, there is no way to know.

I didn’t vote for Al or George that first time. I voted for Ralph Nader. I didn’t care for Gore’s policy on censorship and Bush I took to be a racist and idiot. Turns out Bush wasn’t a racist but was an idiot. As for Gore, I’m still waiting for the world to end. Since then I voted for every Democrat that had been on the ballet from John Kerry, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton (Barf), Andrew Yang, and Tulsi Gabbard. This election, the game that the Democrats have been playing this year with the country was the last straw.

For twenty years I followed a progressive path and while I hold some conservative ideas I learned mostly left on topics. After seeing where the democratic party has gone in a desperate attempt to remove a man from the oval office I can only say “they have lost their minds.” Four years ago, the democratic party was reluctant to go full crazy. This year they decided to stop taking their meds and dived head first into a swimming pool filled with shit.

In 2016, I remember when Black Lives Matter took the stage from Bernie Sanders and he was forced to say he supported their cause. They had acted like bullies and he folded under pressure when he shouldn’t have. To me, that was the end of the Bernie campaign. Later on, Hillary would invite BLM onto her stage in full support not knowing who these people are. This has become the new party policy. Bend the knee to anyone that has clout in the moment and hope everyone else follows. Welcome to 2020.

For the last year I have tried to make a change in the democratic party. Since I was a child, I had heard to fix the system from the inside to make the world a better place. I decided to put my money where my mouth was. I heard Andrew Yang on the Joe Rogan podcast and liked the majority of his policies. He wasn’t a carrier politician and if there was one person, I could see beating Donald Trump in 2020 it was him. although he ran on a universal basic income platform it was his other policies listed on his website that attracted me. Over several months I donated a good portion of money to his campaign and like Bernie in 2016 the Democratic party, pardon my language, fucked him out of the debates. Before I could blink Yang had dropped out and eventually supported Joe Biden as the Democratic candidate.

Then there was Tulsi. Here we have a woman who is everything that the Democratic party says they want as their presidential candidate. Young, a person of color, war vet, current military enlisted, and currently serving in congress. She wanted to invest in the country instead of foreign countries and end the wars that did us no good in the long run. In her first debate Tulsi decimated the party favorite at the time by calling out Kamala Harris for putting single moms in jail if their kids didn’t go to school and putting more black men in prison than any other Attorney General in California. Kamala continued to play the race card and it didn’t work. she was one of the first candidates to drop out of the race. So, we have badass, minority, congressional war vet taking out her opponents and the media refused to cover her. Tulsi was the only option on the primary ballet in the state of Michigan that was left besides Joe Biden. My vote went to Tulsi. Later, she would drop a slander law suit against Hillary Clinton which only told me how far the corruption in the party had gone. Everyone I put my faith in disappointed me in the end. Then came the riots.

Covid-19 came onto the radar at the beginning of the year and before we knew it people had it in Washington state and New York and it was spreading across the map. Lock downs were put into place and the people of Michigan had three months off from work. I followed the Governor’s orders and kept my risk of contracting the disease low. Protest erupted when the lockdown was extended and the media along with the Governor scolded the unpatriotic swine that descended onto the capital building in Lansing. I thought these people were idiots and were acting like children. Then Stupid had a new definition a month later.

George Floyd was allegedly killed by a police officer in Minneapolis and all hell broke loose. Black Lives Matter, an organization that had disappeared after 2017, re-emerged with protest and some new plays in their book for causing havoc across the country. In 2018 the book called White Fragility by Robin DeAngelo was released and it became the new bible for insecure white women everywhere. Antifa and a new army of poorly educated, indebted, college graduates took to the streets and started riots, looting, and started destroying public property across the country. When 104 black people were shot in Chicago on Father’s Day weekend BLM was nowhere to be found. Private businesses pooled money together as a bounty for the person responsible in the death of a one-year-old child. At the same time my Governor was marching in the streets with protesters when a month before she was degrading the previous protesters far doing the same thing. My county declared Racism a public health crisis, not Covid-19. CNN, MSNBC, BBC, and every left-wing newspaper refused to discuss the riots and looting that was taking place and always referred to these events as “Peaceful protest.” Nancy Pelosi, wore a scarf in DC from a tribe in Africa that sold slaves to European merchants, and took a knee in solidarity with BLM. This is the level of stupid that we are dealing with now. Companies left and right are siding with BLM without knowing who they really are. When people say they don’t support them they are fired from their jobs.

Today is the fourth of July and protest, riots, and looting are still going strong. While the Dems are busy kissing the ass of an organization, they know nothing about Trump has made sure that arrests are being made and many of these fools are looking at ten-year prison sentences. Something is finally being done.

I never cared for the Social Justice Warrior phenomenon and their cancel culture, taking due process out of the hands of the courts and legal system, instead choosing to have people fired and soil their name so they can’t make a living anymore. This isn’t the American way. This isn’t how I want to live. We have the first amendment in this country and at the moment the only group who thinks they are allowed to use it are a bunch of crazy leftists that haven’t moved out of their parent’s basement. Nowhere in the constitution does it say that people have the right NOT to be offended. Everyone has the right to say what they believe without the state stepping in but some people want to change that. Now they are going after the second amendment. “Ken and Karen” made the news for defending their home after an iron gate was destroyed and hundreds of armed protesters entered their property threatening to kill them, burn their house down, and kill their dog. Nobody could blame them if they went full John Wick on these assholes except for the media. The local DA is also trying to charge them for defending their property while not firing a single shot. Did I mention the DA is a Democrat?

When I look at the state of affairs across the country every city that became a war zone during these riots are run by Democrats. CHAZ was allowed to prosper in Seattle because of the Democratic Mayor. Chicago, currently being run by a Democrat, is seeing record numbers in shooting while it is a gun free zone. New York is folding under pressure and is cutting over a billion dollars from the NYPD budget only to see an immediate rise in crime. People in my home state were given tickets and fines for not following the stay at home order while the Governor was marching in the streets with protesters who were breaking the same laws, she signed in.

This year was the last straw. I tried. I really did. I supported the best options the democrats had running. I participated in the process. I followed the rules. Then this shit happens. These people with all of their phony policies and lack of spines are pushing the country into a civil war because they can’t handle the fact they are not in charge. As Will McAvoy once said on Newsroom “If Liberals are so fucking smart, how come they lose so goddamn always?” The Dems will lose again. The polls say Biden is winning but we haven’t seen the man in three months. Plus, these are the same polls that said Hillary was going to be in office. I’m not the only one out there. I’m not the only historically voting democrat that will be voting for Trump in November. There are a few other Democrats that I will be voting out of office at the same time. Their time of dividing the country through Identity politics are over. No more of this white shaming and anti-male bullshit. I’ tired of being called a piece of shit because of the color of my skin and having a big pair of balls between my legs. They can shove their policies up their ass from now on. Come November they will join the ranks of the unemployed they created this year and hopefully we can get back on track with improving the country instead of trying to turn it into Orwell’s Animal Farm. I can not be the only one out there that feels this way. We are the silent majority and I’m here to say “You’re fired!”

Corona virus, a blessing in disguise

There is this myth called the American dream, or at least it has been for most of my life. What has been pushed on the public is a need for debt and over abundance to the point of crippling citizens into an endless cycle they will never crawl out of. When there weren’t enough people maxing out credit cards the next scam was to tell everyone to go to college. When there weren’t enough people going to college with student loan debt the need for an over priced house was sold to us. When the housing market crashed and people refused to invest in the market, car loans became the new get rich quick scheme. People in all of these categories are now out of work and behind on payments. The American dream, what was sold to us as that dream, came crashing down, again.

After 2009, I learned what was real and what wasn’t. This fascination with expensive cars, shoes, watches, cell phones, houses, jet skis, and all the other shit people don’t need no longer caught my eye. These were things I could not afford before and afterwards I knew that the majority of the public was not supposed to have them. There is a trade that takes place with owning things that we are told we should have. My step-dad always had to have a truck. He didn’t have a job that required a truck. He rarely ever hauled anything in it. The most he drove these things was to work and back, the most expensive ride to work one could ask for when it came to gas mileage. When I was growing up there were things that the family needed that we didn’t have, because of the cost of that truck. When people buy things they cannot afford, they trade what their family needs and the future for that item. Trucks came and went but the debt never went away. I hear about people getting married and finding out later that their new spouse has a ton of credit card debt. Again, future happiness was traded for long forgotten drinks, nights out on the town, shoes that were donated to goodwill, you get the picture.

With the unemployment numbers skyrocketing eyes are starting to open to what people have been doing since the 1980s. the version of free market capitalism that the US is dependent on will have to disappear. This desire to watch the stock market as a meter of the wealth of the country is a crummy system to use. It only accounts for how rich the rich are and leaves out the little guy who’s only option to buy into this pyramid scheme is to invest for their retirement which is stolen on a regular schedule.

Around me more people are panting gardens. They are looking for local sources of meat and poultry. Backyard chickens are becoming a new lawn decoration. People are starting to learn and while the stock market will cringe at this, I can only hope that the people pushing this old system will have their own eyes opened. Slow growth is manageable and to expect anything else is playing with fragile house of cards. There were old no nonsense rules of finance that people once followed and those had been traded away for greed in the form of fast wealth. It wasn’t just people but the government as well who started to live this lie, taking the future wealth of the country and charging it on a credit card knowing that someone else down the road will have to deal with it. Who cares as long as their families are taken care of? What matters beyond the rich having their fill and the rest of us being left with the bill?

A trump check was deposited into my bank account and that money was used to pay bills in advance and make sure my family had a roof over our heads and food in our bellies. The economic stimulus that the politicians thought they would see didn’t happen. The trick that was supposed to fix the problem failed and now the only other option they are left with is opening the economy and having more people die because of their fucked-up priorities. The rate of incompetence in this matter is astounding. The Chinese government had people locked in their apartments with the doors welded shut and somehow these people in suits don’t appear to understand what this disease is. Natural or not it is a weapon and its job is to kill. Horrible diseases like this one once plagued the planet on a regular basis. Smallpox wiped out the majority of the native population on North and South America. The black plague swept through Asia, Europe, and Asia again. Polio, typhoid fever, malaria, and measles were common enough to have known someone that had died of it during your lifetime. This is a fear that several generations have not experienced and now it is back. The party is over. The adolescent age of man is over. It is now time to grow up.

Everything has become too easy in our lives. Television has us clicking our next show with a remote to watch at any time. Phone calls are too inconvenient replaced with texting. Relationships have been replaced with quick hookups and relationshits. Money is no longer earned but given to the most recent meme to hit the internet. People who were deadbeat bums are now referred to as influencers. The last person to create a life changing invention is forgotten over someone who plays sports ball.

The president told people at a news conference that one way to cure Covid -19 was to inject themselves with Lysol. This is the level of intelligence that is running the country. It is safe to say we are on our own.

Several people I know are either at the same level of preparation or they are heading that way. Gardens are being planted. Chickens are being ordered. Sources for local meat are being found. Gas tanks are left full. Bills are paid in advance. Weapons are carried at all times. The only person we can rely to save us is… us. The message from the government is clear, they have no idea what the hell is going on. “its just a flu, nothing to worry about.” “As of today, we are on lockdown.” “there is no need to wear a face mask in public.” “it is illegal not to wear a face mask when in a public place.”  If there was a sign that they have no idea what they are doing, I hope this would be it. Down play, over react, repeat.

Along with a disease that nobody knows anything about there is a Great Depression that everyone is forecasting for the future. If there is one thing that this country has completely forgotten it is what being poor is like. Our poor people are obese with diabetes. We don’t know what hunger is. As for jobs, we have outsourced all of our work to foreign countries, buy their products at the local Walmart and then bitch about how they ruined the country. Come to think of it, we deserve this. We had this coming for a long time. Our lack of foresight will be our undoing. We talk about the future of the country only to keep pushing the same ball of debt up a pile of shit that will one day crumble underneath us. Our sins are catching up with us and we can’t deny that we deserve what is coming. I see the litter covering the side of the street, the needles littering the parks, the homeless that joke about scamming people, the politicians who keep their jobs by winning a high school popularity contest, the cash advance centers around town, the liquor stores on every corner, the churches taking their 10% (a nice even price for the cost of a soul) the piles of belongings sitting on the side of the road from the latest eviction, the road kill left behind because someone was to lazy or too stupid to clean what they killed and fill their freezer, the morons who check Twitter before bed instead of reading a book, and the lazy assholes who would rather scam unemployment instead of applying for a fucking job.

There was a man who lived by himself in Alaska for over thirty years. When asked about his own safety he replied that if the water on the lake was rough, he didn’t take the canoe out. When you are responsible for your own safety you tend to be careful about what you do. These days everyone expects a bail out and someone else to flip the bill when they screw up. Those days are over. They have been for a long time and now the bill is coming due for everyone. Governments are in debt. Citizens are in debt. Companies rely on debt. The entire world owes someone and it is the poor that will be stuck with the tab. In Michigan, a person on unemployment can make more in the system than they did at their previous job. Why would anyone want to go back to work after this? When the hammer falls things will be rough. People will panic and try to play the blame game but that bill will still be sitting there and those who it is owed to will want something in return. We have become slaves to debt and for some reason we agreed to it. Those who didn’t follow this example will be caught in the crossfire. Those at the bottom of the ladder will want to be supported and the government will tell the middle class to pay the bill. All hell will break loose and it is only then that all involved will figure out that the system is broken. Something needs to change and unless those above us are smart enough to know this nothing will happen and that big ball of debt will continue to be rolled up that pile of shit.

My bills will continue to be paid. The garden will grow. The chickens will provide breakfast for years to come. I see canning in my future. Hunting season is coming in the fall. Tin foil can be reused if it is cleaned. I’m sure my Toyota has another fifteen years in it. I could care less about the last sports game, who was given a rose on the bachelor, which Kardashian called another useless person a bitch, where the stock market is, or who is running for office. I have my priorities set and my family comes first. If anyone tries to tell me otherwise, heaven help them. I’m tired of people trying to force me to play the same stupid game because they say so and I am not the only one.
